Baby Travis 6 Months

This sweet boy is the son of one of my childhood friends, Tiffany.  He just turned six months old.  We had a great shoot and I enjoyed getting to see and hold him.  Thanks Ross and Tiffany for driving up so we could capture memories once more. Don't blink! He'll be a year old before you know it!!!

Meet the Greenlee's

I had the pleasure of taking the Greenlee's family pictures on Saturday.  Jenn & I go "way" back...to 2009!  We worked together at Healdton Mercy Hospital and enjoyed our shifts together.  She always talked about her crazy kids but I hadn't been around all of them at once.  We even had a man join in the photo shoot (check out the last picture)...I had a great time guys!  Thanks for allowing me to photograph your family!

Owen's Motor Inn Garage

We visited my Nanny and the rest of the Owen family last weekend.  I always love traveling to Texas to see my family.  One thing that brings back wonderful memories is Owen's Motor Inn Garage...My Papa was the owner/founder (Buck Owen) and Uncle Richard also worked there.  When Papa retired, Uncle Richard kept the family business open.  I love going back to the place where my grandpa spent many of his days.  When my cousins were young, Aunt Jolene bought a one piece outfit and embroidered "Owen's Garage" on it.  It's a piece of clothing that has been passed down to the grandkids now...and it's Jackson's turn to wear it :)  He's outgrown it now, but James thought it would be fun to take his picture in it, at Uncle Richard's shop.  So we did!  Thankfully, Uncle Richard didn't mind letting us in and even pulling "Ol' Blue" out...he was excited because he had just washed it the day before.  This truck has sentimental value to the Owen family also.  On hot summer days, we would turn on the two fans in the camper part of the truck.  I was never to sit close to the fans because we had cut my hair out of the blades way too many times... Oh, the memories... I was so glad I could share this special place with Jackson and take a few pictures.  Also, the little red porsche in some of the pictures was mine when I was Jackson's age...we wiped off the dust and brought it with us to Texas.  Thanks for reading my blog!

2011 Senior { Mercedes }

Tomorrow is May 1st and graduation is right around the corner...here is one senior that is ready to graduate and for the college life!  You'll do great, Mercedes!  Hope you like your pictures...

{ jackson's first easter }

Today, we celebrate Easter and the resurrection of Christ who died on the cross, bearing our sins, so that we may one day spend eternity with Him in Heaven.  I thank God every day for the precious gift He's blessed James and I with.  We always say, "He's such a special baby"...and "we are so blessed".  Here are a few pictures of our sweet {baby} Jackson "hunting" eggs on his first Easter Sunday.  Thanks for following my blog!

Here's where I get all sentimental...

Today, Jackson got his hair cut for the first time.  It was heartbreaking to me because it was just another reminder that my baby is growing up.  Time sure flies when you have kids and this was a big step for me.  I know, I know, it's just a hair cut!  But he's my sweet baby boy and I cherish every moment with him, even if I get sad that he's growing up.  He did great sitting in his daddy's lap.  Tina did really well with his hair too (thanks tina!).  This first picture is the "before" shot.  Yes, he should've had it cut weeks ago, but I had to have time to prepare myself!  No tears shed today, but that was because I was too busy taking pictures.  Thankfully, I take Tina's pictures, so she knew I'd take a million of this "first" moment.

Mercedes - Sr. Prom 2011
